Wisielnik
–
a
hill between Bachlawa and Hoczew. It’s name
comes from, that in the old times criminals were
executed there, especially scroungers of the trade
hungarian tract. The gallows in that times were apart
from the village, because people hung on them even a
few weeks as a warning for others. The gallows in the
Wisielnik stayed very long and many times was used
– still in the XVIII century.
