The gallery in Hoczew – was founded in 1998 in a cellar of the house, where  Zdzisław Pękalski lives. There are paintings on the old boards (kneading troughs, troughs, cribs, old doors, table tops, mouldings – boards, boards from groom floors) which have been found in a river or Solina Lake. Many of saints who are in the paintings have got an aureole made of horseshoes. The gallery is visited by many tourist and private people who arrive to the Bieszczady mountains.
