A
muzeum in Hoczew –
a
regional chamber is situated in
an old time greekcatholic
vicarage. It was founded by
Zdzisław Pękalski in 1985.
There are about 2000 exhibits
and this number always increases.
Among the exhibits there are
tools, furniture, dressings and
documents from very old times.
The oldest thing there is a
fossil piece of oak wood and a
fragment of a mamoth tusk. You
can see there also o lot of
porcelain’s fragments from
the Roman times – an iron
period and from early middle
ages.
